What is Vestibular Rehabilitation?
Vestibular rehabilitation is a specialized form of physiotherapy aimed at treating dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders that arise from the vestibular system, which is responsible for controlling balance. Whether you’re experiencing symptoms due to an inner ear issue, head injury, or another condition, our expert physiotherapists will work with you to help you regain stability, mobility, and confidence.

Common Vestibular Conditions We Treat:
- Vertigo – A spinning sensation that may be caused by conditions such as Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).
- Dizziness – A feeling of light-headedness or unsteadiness that affects your ability to function normally.
- Balance Disorders – Difficulty maintaining your balance, often caused by inner ear issues or neurological conditions.
- Meniere’s Disease – A disorder of the inner ear that causes episodes of vertigo, hearing loss, and tinnitus (ringing in the ears).
- Labyrinthitis – Inflammation of the inner ear that leads to dizziness, hearing loss, and balance problems.
- Vestibular Migraines – A type of migraine that includes vertigo and dizziness as primary symptoms.

When you visit Dynamic Physio and Rehab, your physiotherapist will begin with a thorough assessment of your condition, including:
- Detailed questioning about your symptoms and medical history
- Physical and neurological examinations to identify any balance impairments
- Specific vestibular tests with the use of Infrared Goggles to assess inner ear and nerve function
