Kids/Teen Strength & Conditioning Classes
Looking to help your child/teen become fitter, faster, and stronger, or simply introduce them to a fun new challenge?
Our Strength & Conditioning Classes at Dynamic Physio & Rehab are led by experienced coaches/physios and tailored to help young athletes build confidence, improve performance, and enjoy movement.
Ages 9–12:
Our younger group focuses on game-based sessions that develop fundamental movement skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
With an emphasis on strength, cardio, agility, coordination, and balance, these classes are carefully supervised to ensure safety while encouraging kids to explore new movements and feel a real sense of achievement.
Each block runs between 4-6 weeks, with 45-minute sessions designed to keep kids active, engaged, and having fun – all while laying the groundwork for future training.

Ages 13+:
For teens aged 13 and up, we offer a more immersive and individualised strength & conditioning program. Whether their goal is to compete at a high level, build confidence in a gym setting, or reduce injury risk, each athlete receives a personalised training plan. Sessions are kept small to allow for very close, hands-on coaching, ensuring that teens learn proper technique, build safe training habits, and gain confidence with new exercises and equipment.
Across the 4-6week block, athletes complete 45-minute sessions focused on building strength through key compound lifts, developing explosiveness for sport, and using targeted exercises to enhance performance and reduce injury risk.
As part of our 4–6 week Strength & Conditioning programs, we can incorporate VALD performance testing where appropriate for the participant’s age, goals, and training needs. While VALD testing is not included in every program, it can provide valuable objective data to help monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
For participants interested in tracking measurable changes over the course of the program, we recommend booking a VALD Assessment before commencing the training block. A follow-up assessment can then be completed at the end of the program, allowing for a direct comparison of results and helping to identify any meaningful improvements in strength, power, balance, or movement performance.
If performance testing and progress tracking are important to you, please speak with our team about whether VALD assessments are suitable for your child.
